This was a match of 'what might have been' and was closer than the scoreline suggests! If Ian Fuller had managed to win his three set match at the start then Will Chawner and John West could have snatched a victory by winning the last doubles. As it was they came close but may be the extra incentive would have spurred them on! Will Chawner gave us our one win in a hard fought three setter but Richard Dalzell and John West came up against some formidable opponents in their singles although the games were closer than the scores suggest. An enjoyable day for all concerned and hopefully this will now become a permanent fixture on the OT list.
